Stampin’ Up! UK Triple Time Heat Embossing Hello, Doily
Well if there’s ever a time to throw a few techniques onto a card, it’s when you’re doing a one to one with someone….
I had the lovely Cathryn come over for a one to one session recently, where I was teaching her heat embossing techniques. This was one of our projects, where I taught her how to triple time stamp, but we stepped it up and stamped using Versamark and Gold Heat Embossing Powder.
My feeling, with a card such as this, that it’s all about the embossing, and not about sentiments and added embellishments.
One of those cards that you can give for any number of reasons.
So basically, the ‘trick’ to this is to cut all your cardstock and background mats first; I used Chocolate Chip and Whisper White cardstock. they you triple layer the white mats down and using some lightweight/easy to remove adhesive, stamp all the layers in one go. In this case, we then heat embossed everything. After that, you separate your stamped layers, and add back in the background mats. Thus, giving this layered impression.
Pretty snazzy right?
Well, I hope you like our technique, and perhaps you’ll try it yourself one day?
