Stampin’ Up! UK Hello Lovely Bermuda Bay Modern Medley!
Yes, it’s another from the Modern Medley DSP series. This may just nudge into being my favourite. I think it’s the super bright pop of colour that in reality is only a tiny tiny part of the card.
It’s Bermuda Bay, which you all know I love, but it is poles apart from my BB card the other day, that was all about the colour.
This time, I’ve simply decided to accent the Basic Black and Very Vanilla of this beautifully baroque style paper and matching embossed card panel (Delicate Designs Embossing Folder, and isn’t it gorgeous?), with a flash of colour.
The super skinny 1/8″ ribbon is perfect for that, and while the Hello, Lovely Stamp Set was used, it is mostly black (stazon!) and just that tiny section stamped in Bermuda Bay, which I cut out using the small oval punch. I have missed this, although I’ve had it a while, and I now can’t get enough of it! Have you counted the number of projects it’s popped up on recently?
And of course, when you have a stamp that has the matching punch, you just have to use it, right? Decorative Label Punch how I love you!
So this is my card for today. I do believe it’s transferable with lots of other colours, most definitely Melon Mambo would work, with it’s ribbon, as would the Old Olive sibling.
I hope you like this, and as I say ‘Hello, Lovely’ a lot, I need to find a worthy recipient….
Could it be you? Do me a favour, pin, tweet, facebook or share this and leave me a comment to let me know, and I will randomly pick someone ANYWHERE in the world, and pop it in the post to you! (comments to be left by Sunday night please!)
This week’s Hostess Code for week ending Sunday October 13th is GN4H79AH and this week’s prize is the BANNER GREETINGS AND SWEETLY FRAMED STAMP SETS! These are both hostess exclusives, and are usually only available if you place an order over £150 or host a party over that amount. I’m giving 2 sets away to the winner of the hostess code
