So, today I made a bit more ‘public’ a facebook craft group I’ve had for a while. I originally set it up some months ago with my downline, as a place where we could all chat to our non-Stampin Up craft friends. Those who craft in different disciplines – candles, soaps, foods etc.
But today, I decided to open it up to anyone who wanted to join, and changed the name from Craft Advice Forum to Pootles Craft Forum.
It’s not a place to constantly dump blog posts and spam other members, but a place where we can all hang out, chat, share projects and ideas.
I’m quite aware that with a facebook business page, people are less likely to interact with one another, I guess it’s not etiquette perhaps? Not sure, but I wanted to open up somewhere where loads of us, all with things in common, could chill, chat, share projects and photos, ask questions, and get to know other crafters in other disciplines and also, different countries.
One of the greatest things for me since I joined Stampin Up earlier this year, is just how wide yet small our world is. I will happily call people in the US, Canada, Australia etc my friends, as I genuinely feel that way. It’s you guys who pop up on my facebook feed every day, who comment here, and who keep me feeling inspired, and to me, that’s a friend.
So anyway, if you want to join the group, please feel free to click this link, and I can’t wait to see you and meet you and get to know you more!
This week’s Hostess Code for week ending Sunday is VCD3CFYH and you could win all the hostess £££s that accumulate during the week! One winner will be named at random

I’d most definitely like to hear from you! I have a YouTube channel (over there on the right!) and you can find me by searching PootlesPapercraft, Pootles Paper Craft or Pootles Papercraft! (I like the variety!)
