Stampin’ Up! UK Perfect Plum Christmas
Well, if you don’t know me very well yet, and are new to Pootles, I’m that girl who likes to buck the trend, and try something different. Whether that’s colours, styling, or something completely random right out of my head, I’m that girl.
I have no shame in admitting that I’m ever so slightly bonkers, but you know, it’s a good thing. Surely…?
So, with that out of the way (and apologies to old friends who are well used to my antics!), this is today’s card.
Perfect Plum and Smoky Slate get an outing this Christmas!
It’s a super easy card to make, a card blank of Smoky Slate cardstock, a layer of Perfect Plum cardstock that was popped up on dimensionals with a strip of Smoky Slate Chevron Ribbon wrapped length ways.
After that though, I decided to mix it right up by getting out my Merry Little Christmas stamp set and a couple of matching Stampin’ Write Markers. You can see how I’ve coloured it, and I absolutely love this style of stamping. Who knows where your creativity could take you!
So that, after it was stamped onto Whisper White, was punched using the big old 2.5″ (6.4cm) Circle Punch and the edges sponged in the matching Perfect Plum ink, and then a second one punched in Smoky Slate. Also sponged.
I offset layered them with dimensionals to give that little bit of lift, then scattered Rhinestones across the whole card.
Simple, elegant, and a great way to share some nontraditional colours this Christmas!
