Stampin’ Up! UK Pistachio Pudding Heat Embossed Hopeful Thoughts
I love the Hopeful Thoughts stamp set. I’ve used it before, that time with a darker green, but this time, I wanted to have a paler green, and set it to the background, rather than the foreground.
So this card, simple and easy to make, yet full of stylish impact is built up as follows –
A card blank of Naturals White cardstock, with a layer of Pistachio Pudding DSP (from the Designer Series Paper Stacks – In Colour 2013-2015) and Basic Black Cardstock. However, I decided to stamp the breezy flowers from Hopeful Thoughts, but I wanted to make them really stand out, so I heat embossed using Versamark Ink overset with White Embossing Powder.
The delicate basics pearls scattered around and in the center of the flowers made that so pretty and delicate.
But I felt the card needed a ‘middle’, so I grabbed the matching Stretch Ruffle Ribbon and 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon, and layered them around the middle. Perfect!
Hmmm, it needed a little more…. So this time, I took the Boho Blossoms Punch, which has 3 different flowers, and punched it 3 times. I took the largest and smallest, gently sponged the edges with Pistachio Pudding ink, curled them slightly, and centered them with more basics Pearls. The were popped up with rolled mini glue dots (for a bit of dimension, but not as much as dimensionals) and finished it all with a trio of pearls running vertically by the ribbon band.
Simple, quick to make, and perfect for anyone.
I hope you like it too!
