Stampin’ Up! UK Envelope Punch Board Week – The Soap Gift Box and more!
I felt it only right that I design a box for my soap maker customers. It’s you guys who first liked/commented/shared my videos, came shopping with me, and joined my team.
And yes, while I (now!) know there is no such things as a standard sized bar of handmade soap, one of the most common sizes I’m asked to make is for a bar that measures 3.5 x 3.5 x 1″, so it was with that in mind, that I created this box for you.
There is a bonus also in that you can fit a decent number of mini 3×3 cards into it also, but as you will well know, I will always work to get the very best used out of a piece of cardstock or paper, so I was quite savvy with this particular box and managed to get not only the belly band for the box itself but enough left over cardstock to make a 3 x 3 card, and more left over to use for the punch background purposes.
So without any more natter, here is my box that is dedicated to my Soap Customers, but is also a fabulous size for a multitude of other things.
And the dimensions, corrected from the video, I think I was filming my 8th or 9th in one day at that point…
Cardstock – 7 x 7″ (17.7 x 17.7cm)
Belly Band – 1 3/8 x 10″ (25.5 x 3.3cm)
Card blank – 6 x 3″ (15 x 7.5cm)
DSP for box – 3 1/4 x 3 1/4″ (8 x 8cm)
DSP for card – 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 (7 x 7cm)
Line your cardstock up at 2 7/8. Punch and Score
SLIDE your cardstock up to 4 1/8. Punch and Score
Now, rotate your cardstock and simply use the score guide to line up your previously scored lines, punch and score.
Repeat for all remaining sides.

Hello, Sam Hammond,
You do not know how happy I was to have found you on Pinterest. I love your work and have saved so many of your videos to refer to. I am always watching for new ones. I enjoy listening to you. You do such beautiful work and you always leave the funny parts in. I also love your accent. You see, I live in the US in the State of Washington which is on the West Coast. My city is Vancouver.
Anyway, I thought I would introduce myself as an admirer from “afar”. I will keep on following you and learning from your wonderful videos. Thanks for sharing your talent with the world.
Hugs
