Soft. Gentle. Delicate. Simple.

Whichever word you choose from the above, it could work to describe today’s card.

The delicate and gentle colour of the Soft Sky seam binding ribbon, ink and candy dot work perfectly with that gentle sponging of the Sahara Sand Ink around the Afternoon Picnic designer series paper and Very Vanilla Cardstock.

The simple font of the ‘Hi’ from Regarding Dahlias stamp set punched with the 1″ Square Punch and layered over the Curly Lable Punch works with the simple sponging using that beautiful Soft Sky ink.

After that, the trios of Pearls are all that’s needed to lift this from plain and simple to stylish and simple.

 

 

 

I think that we British in particular don’t send cards often enough, we barely send hand written letters, let alone cards, and I believe that it’s okay to send a card that simply says ‘Hi’ to someone you like, love, miss or cherish.
