POOTLES Stampin Up UK Stampin’ Write Marker O Holy Night
There is nothing I like more than a simple card. Or rather, nothing I like more than Making a simple card. One that is simple, yet full of impact.
And this card, while simple to look at, because of the variant elements and layering, I believe it takes it from flat and simple to elegant and stylish.
At least I hope so….!
So my card ‘recipe’ is Garden Green cardstock folded to make a tent-fold card, with a layer of Whisper White Cardstock. A further layer of Chocolate Chip cardstock, and then a 4th of Whisper White.
I’ve put dimensionals between the green and white, and the white and chocolate, but layered the top white directly onto the chocolate chip!
The sentiment though, well that’s the full stamp from the O Holy Night stamp set. It’s stunning, but I wanted to give it a little extra edge, so I got out my Garden Green and Chocolate Chip Stampin’ Write Markers and got colouring!
I love how our pens are filled with the same ink as our ink pads, as that makes life so much easier when wanting a multicoloured image!
I can’t say that I stamped using the stamp-a-ma-jig. That would have been too clever, but I did stamp first, then cut around after! Which I had to do with the second layer underneath, but it worked for me!
And the addition of that tiny hint of Chocolate Chip Chevron Ribbon was enough for this card.
I hope you like it, I enjoyed the gentle rhythm of markering this stamp up for the project. It’s almost a kind of therapy!
This week’s Hostess Code for week ending Sunday is ZH7G3UJG and you could win all the hostess £££s that accumulate during the week! One winner will be named at random
