Stampin’ Up! UK An Afternoon Picnic, Tied up with… Ribbon?!
I love this paper. That’s no secret. I love this ribbon. That’s not a secret either. But did you know that I love the Wisteria Wonder colour also? I’m not sure! Perhaps? Maybe? Well, you know it now!
It’s an instinctively springlike colour, but I don’t care, I just love it!
And to me, this colour blends beautifully with the Afternoon Picnic Designer Series Paper, whether it’s Autumn, Spring or some other time of the year!
So this card is as ever, a simple card that’s all about the paper pattern.
A card blank of Naturals White Cardstock, a mat of Wisteria Wonder cardstock with the edges gently sponged with the same colour ink, then a layer of Afternoon Picnic DSP, also sponge edged in Wisteria Wonder.
I decided I wanted a bit of a ‘nod’ to my box designs, so I wrapped those two layers with the stunning Wisteria Wonder Chevron Ribbon. Kind of cute?
After that, it was a quick stamped sentiment from the Sweetly Framed Hostess stamp set, punched with the Small Oval Punch, and then a second one punched out of Wisteria Wonder cardstock. The two were sponged and then a tiny hole meant I could feed through my favourite Linen Thread so it could be tied to the ribbon. A quick pop up with a dimensional between the layers and one to hold it onto the card, and done!
Do you like it?
Although I’m not sure who to give this to just yet. Perhaps I’ll save it for an emergency moment!
This week’s Hostess Code for week ending Sunday is DEUYV6RJ and you could win all the hostess £££s that accumulate during the week! One winner will be named at random
