Stampin’ Up! UK Flowerfull Christmas Heart
It’s like that phrase that comes out around this time of year ‘A dog is for life, not just for Christmas’, and to me, a Heart is for life, not just for Valentine’s Day.
And although yes, Stampin’ Up! has released a short term set of stamps and products that are probably aimed more at Valentine’s Day than any other time of year, you all know me well enough to know that I will think outside the metaphorical ‘box’ wherever possible.
With that in mind, as soon as I saw the gorgeous Flowerfull Heart stamp at Convention recently, I knew that I would use it a lot. A lot a lot…!
And therefore, with Christmas approaching, and a desire to remind my husband (again!) that I love him, I made this card for him that is festive in colour and sentiment and sparkle, but packed full of love!
It was really easy to make, I used Real Red for my cardstock and random stamped with versamark across one layer, which I heat embossed using the Iridescent Ice embossing Powder.
I stamped another heart onto Whisper White cardstock and a matching sentiment from the Wishing You set using Cherry Cobbler Heat Embossing Powder, but double embossed the heart with another layer of Iridescent Ice.
Now, the Large Heart Punch is smaller than the stamp, but that didn’t stop me punching the embossed one out, and a second layer in Real Red cardstock. Very little stops me when I’m determined!
And the sentiment fits perfectly inside the Extra-Large Oval Punch.
So a totally festive, but totally loving card, I hope you like it.
And importantly, I hope Chris does too!
AND DON’T FORGET, THE CLEARANCE RACK WAS UPDATED ON TUESDAY!
