Stampin’ Up! UK ADVENT COUNTDOWN 23 Mini Christmas Banners
Okay, so the children have broken up from school, Christmas isn’t coming fast enough for them, there’s no snow because it’s grey and raining and British weather is never stereotypically seasonal (one day we may have a white christmas…!), and they’re bored.
What do you do?
You make mini banners!
My video (HERE!) shows you the make and build of one, and I do tell you in the video that you’ll be able to see on this page the end results after the boys have coloured them in.
Unfortunately, in true ‘Sam’s Boys’ style, Oliver (2) decided to shred his as this was far more fun. Jacob (5) was distracted by a new comic that had a glitter glue project attached and managed to weld his to the comic. Luke (8) is currently trying to be way too cool for Christmas and didn’t want to participate. However, Jack (10) who is our registered Gifted artist did take up the challenge, and loved it.
Well, the others are going to be a bit miffed that they haven’t got any on their doors (I’m not that mean, I’ll make them some more), but I’m proud to show you mine and Jack’s result.
The gluey, shredded mess wouldn’t have been pretty!
A super simple project made using Colour Me Christmas stamp set, 2 3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch, 2 1/2″ Circle Punch and some 1/8″ Silver Ribbon.
Enjoy!
