Stampin’ Up! UK Winter Frost Thank You Card
12 Deals of Christmas – details down at the bottom!!!
Well, Christmas Day has been and gone. Was it fantastic? I was lucky enough to receive loads of gorgeous smellies and goodies for bathing in, (always a winner!) and a perfect collapsible extension table for my office, for when my crafting extends beyond my desk….
My children also received some amazing gifts from Uncles and Grandparents, and in the next few days and weeks, we’re going to be thinking of sending thank you cards to friends and loved ones who gave us gifts.
With that in mind, and also an excess of seasonal Designer Series Paper left, I have a mini series of cards for a ‘use it up’ challenge to try and get through that aforementioned excess paper!
And this first one makes brilliant use of that super gorgeous metallic Winter Frost Specialty Paper.
I think it’s too easy to hold ‘precious’ some of the prettier papers in our stashes, and that often means that they are very loved, but often under used. Such a shame, but I have loved and used this paper a lot, and with a small piece left, I have made this card.
It’s an easy ‘build’ card, and very fast to make.
A card blank of Bermuda Bay cardstock with a layer of Whisper White cardstock that measures .5cm (1/4″) less on either side. I sponged the edges of this with Bermuda Bay ink, and then added a layer of the Winter Frost DSP using the same decreasing proportions.
Then I simply stamped the Thank You from the Four You set using Bermuda Bay ink, die cut it using the Chalk Talk framelits and sponged the edges of that too.
Afterwards, I just added a trio of mini Bermuda Bay buttons to the top right hand corner, tied some whisper white Bakers Twine through a medium sized one for the sentiment and punched 3 flowers from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (sponged of course!) and added Candy Dots to the middle!
Pretty and shiny, and not at all Christmassy. And fortunately, if you’ve really fallen for this set of papers, as I have, it’s still available until February 1st!

12 Deals of Christmas.
So, what’s this all about? Well, I don’t do sales, and I don’t do discounts. In my professional opinion, Stampin’ Up! offers the best quality products at the best prices around (and with over 10 years crafting experiences, trust me, I’ve tried ’em all!). So you won’t ever see me offering to reduce the prices of products, or sharing my discount. But what I want to do, as a one off, just for Christmas, is offer 12 extra goodies that go into the regular Thank You Gift Pack that I send out to all my customers.
Each ‘deal’ will only be available for the stated day, and will vary in price, product and value.
I get an immediate email notification of all orders that come in, so you don’t need to worry about getting in touch, or emailing to say you want to take advantage of the deal, I’ll send it out automatically.
All orders over £50 will receive a Small Heart Punch from me, inside their regular Thank You Gift Pack. It will come direct from me, as this is an offer direct from me. It will not come with the order you place.
Fine Print. This is not a catch, there is no single winner, this is not a competition. Please do not add it to your order, (unless of course you want duplicates!) as I will be sending this separately.
All Thank You Gift Packs will be posted after the 12 Deals of Christmas have finished.
I hope you enjoyed this project, please do use the hostess code when shopping to support Pootles! (hostess code shown in the top right of my blog for the current one!)
