Stampin’ Up! UK Cherry Cobbler Million and One Thanks

Last day of December today. And a new year starts tomorrow.
Is that exciting or sad? I’m not sure! You’ll have to check in tomorrow to hear my thoughts…!
But on to today’s card, which is part of my Use It Up Challenge mini series, this also uses some of the seasonal paper.
This time, I’m going back to Season of Style (the DSP mini Stack this time) and working with that stunning Cherry Cobbler which is very much ‘my’ colour. In fact, when I’m sending out cards and gifts to my downline, I’ll mostly use that, and if you look around this screen right now, that background colour is Cherry Cobbler….!
But aside from my own personal love of it, it’s a great elegant colour and a show stopper at that.
With the impact of cardstock and DSP that matches, a strip of the stunning Cherry Cobbler 1″ Grosgrain Ribbon needs only a gentle sponging on the edges to blend them together.
I’ve used the Million and One stamp set, and taken the stamp of the same name and stamped it onto Whisper White Cardstock.
I’ve used framelits this time, the Deco Labels for the sentiment and the Labels Collection for the Cherry Cobbler backing piece.
And then it’s just a case of a scattering of Rhinestones in key places to twinkle this up a little bit more!
I love this card. Not just because of the colour, but because of how it all fell together.
