Well, how many people got engaged at Christmas? CONGRATULATIONS if it was you! And if it was someone in your family, congratulations also!
I’ve worked in the wedding industry for over a decade, and I know that there are statistically more engagements at Christmas than at any other time of the year, so with that in mind, I decided to come up with a simple card that works perfectly for the newly engaged, but could also be adapted for other ‘congratulations’ moments!
It was also a really good excuse for me to indulge a former love of wirework on a card. This was very much my ‘signature’ style in days gone by. I would make a trio of images in a frame, and pop one or all of them up with a wired stem or tail. I loved the simplicity, and they were always incredible popular.
So it’s a nice opportunity for me to do something a little different!
I hope you enjoy the video, and yes, I realised at the point of photographing the projects that I’d managed to put the Wisteria Wonder card upside down…. Oops!
