Stampin’ Up! UK Fold Flat Wax Melt Favour Box Tutorial
I am truly blessed to have an amazing Downline Team, and even more blessed that they’re all such talented crafters. I have chandlers, soap makers, jewellers, paper crafters, and so many more, within the team, and one of these lovely ladies, Lucy from LubyLu is a true Artisan Chandler.
She makes candles and wax melts and I’m everso very slightly addicted, after buying a stash for Christmas, and my whole house smelling divine!
I ordered another set recently, and asked Lucy to just choose a random selection for me, so I could stretch my olfactory senses a little, and wow, did I get an amazing selection!
But it was while admiring the fragrances and colours that I started to ponder how well these would be as wedding favours, particularly as in this modern times, brides are using ‘traditional’ colours less and less, and going more for their favourite colours.
So I whizzed up a box, it’s one I’ve done before, the Fold Flat box, but again, my mind was wandering, and thinking that if a bride was to be making perhaps 100 of these boxes for favours, she wouldn’t necessarily want them fully ‘formed’ too far in advance, and so therefore, something that could be made ahead of time (when bridal prep isn’t so full on!) and stored easily was the obvious choice!
The dimensions are specific to Lucy’s melts, but I’ve just done a test with some other melts that I’ve got, and they too will fit, and of course, you could pop all sorts of gifts in here!
And of course, the video here! Apologies for the bloopers with the DSP, it was 11.15pm when I was filming after a very long day….!
