Stampin’ Up! UK Customer Thank You Gifts – Scissor Charms!

POOTLES Stampin Up UK Customer Thank You Gifts Scissor Charms 7

I have the most awesome people who shop through me. I have ladies who craft, ladies who craft to sell, chaps who are buying gifts for their wives/girlfriends (do you do training courses for giftly challenged husbands? please…), and I treasure every one who chooses me as their demonstrator.

You each support me, support my business, and I take the greatest delight in making little gifts for you all.

Every time someone shops with me, no matter how many times (!), I make a little gift and a thank you card and pop it in the post a week or so later.

My regulars know that something is coming, but they never know what, and my new customers get a lovely surprise when the letter box rattles and there’s a little something from me!

This is the part of my job that I adore. I genuinely love making things for people, and I take great delight in knowing that these will hopefully brighten someone’s day!

I very rarely share the images of cards or gifts on my blog, preferring to keep that as a special ‘secret’ with my customers, however, I popped a picture snapped off my phone onto my facebook page recently, and it was so well received, that I decided to share a rare insight into the ‘hidden’ side of what I do for people.

These are scissors charms. They’re tiny silver plated envelopes (of course!) threaded with linen thread and tied onto some 1/8″ taffeta ribbon and then threaded onto a matchbook style holder.

The idea is that these are untied from the holder and then tied onto your scissors. They’re perfect if you have a few pairs of scissors that are the same, but one is your dedicated cardstock pair, and maybe another is a fabric pair. And I know that some of my ladies and gents attend craft crops, and these are a great way to identify them as yours.

So I won’t share the ‘recipe’ for this build much further, but share some visuals of the ones I made for my customers!

Brian -Yeah, the story was a bit over the top – even for the KNS.Oh, and I think that Herb can only be jailed for 6 months under federal criminal contempt, not a year.Cheers,Rob
