Stampin’ Up! UK Petite Petals Pop of Colour

Something sweet, simple, and full of Pootles Power!

*waits for tumbleweeds to stop rolling by….*

Okay, so Pootles Power is a bit twee, but I do seem to have a ‘simple’ style to my cards, and I think this is kind of the epitome of that.

One stamp, one punch and a bunch of flowers in the middle! Made even better because the punch and stamps are on an AWESOME bundle right now!!

Did I skip the sentiment? I didn’t mean to, but you know, you could just smother a page in these flowers and be done!

My card however is made up of flowers, I took the ‘sketchy’ flower from the Petite Petals stamp set, and with each of the following colours, I stamped it 3 times, and then punched them all out using the matching Petite Petals Punch. Pacific Point, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Early Espresso, Chocolate Chip.

I wanted the majority of these to be in the neutral tones, and just that little pop of colour from the blue.

Gorgeous!

And although it’s all layered up on Whisper White, I decided the softness from the Basics Pearls was a better centre to them. And of course, the background and sentiment (from Happy Watercolour) were stamped and sponged with Sahara Sand and all mounted onto a matching card blank of the same colour. But those edges. Well they were just too sharp, so I nipped the corners off with the Corner Rounder Punch.

Easy Peasy!
