Stampin’ Up! UK En Francais meets Petite Petals
I love this card! I never used to be into flowers at all, but I do love a pretty flowered handmade card. Or certainly, a card that shows off pretty flowers. And you have to agree, these are really rather pretty!
I think it’s because it mixes up my favourite colour of Cherry Cobbler with the gentle elegance of the En Francais Stamp Set.
The card blank is made from half a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, folded in half, but layered with a mat of Very Vanilla cardstock. Then I stamped that beautiful En Francais in the same colour onto a further layer of Crumb Cake, then got out my sponge and buffed up the edges.
I don’t ‘do’ vintage particularly well, but this sort of sponged edge is right up my street!
Then I decided a smattering of flowers from the Petite Petals stamp set, and some of those tiny flowers from the Banner Blast Stamp Set (Sale a Bration freebie) punched using the Petite Petals Punch and Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack all clustered together with Basics Pearls was enough in that corner.
Tra La! Job done!
I love it. It’s soft and grungy, yet elegant and so very ‘me’!
Don’t forget, Sale a Bration is on until the 31st of March. There is an awesome offer for every £45 spent (get free stuffs!) and an amazing joining offer (spend £99 and choose £150 worth of products of your choice, a great way to kick start a new business doing what I do!)
I hope you enjoyed this project, please do use the hostess code to support Pootles! (hostess code shown in the top right of my blog for the current one!)
