Stampin’ Up! UK Tea Bag Holder Folder Tutorial
I don’t do tea. Weird strange warm water stuff with odd flavour attached. Peculiar stuff. However, I do appreciate that I’m a minority, particularly in Britain where we seem to keep the country running on the stuff!
But, it was after a conversation with my parents after they had returned from a country cottage holiday that got me pondering the small niceties that the owners of the cottage had left for them, and that taking something so very ordinary as a bag of tea, packaging it up, and making it look stunning made a huge difference.
Now my tea bags measure 6.5 x 7.5cm (2 5/8 x 3″), so if yours are different, you will need to adjust the envelopes according to the EPB and the width of your cardstock slightly, but Twinings is a great brand and I figured their bags were a good place to start!
So please do enjoy the video, and remember, there’s only a week left of Sale a Bration to join my team or to get hold of the stunning free products.

Oh so nice ti see such down to earth and decently smart advice ! I blogged a couple of years ago, decently sucessfully, but did get disgusted with all the ‘blog-snobbery’. I’m getting back into it with a (hopefully) much more march to my own drummer approach… all that to say that I think your article is nicely well-rounded… anyway, I’ll be back. Thanks !
I haven't used it a ton yet, but I also got good results just using chipboard (thin, smooth cardboard), before I had the carrier board. Personally I think you can skip the carrier board and try it without first.
I just discovered this on pinterest and just love it! I’m a tea lover myself so I can only imagine who another person who loves tea would feel to receive this! I’m so happy I still have this paper in my stash!
I’m not a tea fan but I do like to gift it away! !
What a cute idea. I happened upon your bltgsioe one day and haven’t left it yet. You are very talented and have such great ideas. I live in New Jersey so I’m not so close to you(If I was, I would love to come to a class of yours). Thanks for all the great ideas! And Thanks also for sharing them so we can be inspired!!!!!!!
they are losing fans and i know for a fact.my brothers friend plaid a part in the show and knows a bit.these people started the show wrong with just a few series and than made everyone wait forever just to put a few more episodes back on.they cant get it together.
Lol… Regardless if PS3 won the head-to-head or not, I still got it for the PS3 anyway for better reasons; 1. PS3 gets first and only dibs on DLC; 2. PS3 version came with the first Assassins Creed game (which happened to be the only one I didn’t play); 3. Just because I mainly prefer the Dual Shock controller over the clunky-rock, that is the shitbox controller… But this head-to-head win for the superior PS3 version will do, as well… And to think, the “Moron Trio” (Blandriod, MyAssHurts, and Crying1999)tried to call this one before the head-to-head.VN:F [1.9.17_1161](from 21 votes)
I just made two of the tea bag holders. Love them, plan on making more.
I love this. Thank you so much for sharing. The tea envelope was so simple I will be able to make a hundred or so for a guiding event for adults. I’m going to tackle the holders. It would mean a hundred or so holders and then 400 tea bag envelopes.
Thank you so much for the brilliant ideas.
Is there a written version of the tutorial? Not a fan of videos since I’m not usually where I can watch and work at the same time.
Love the idea; much nicer than zip-seal baggies
