Stampin’ Up! UK Mini Hand Cut Milk Cartons Tutorial
Well, this is the cutest little set of boxes I think I’ve come up with in quite a long time.
I deliberately designed these in this size so that you can get 2 from a sheet of cardstock, whether it’s A4 or 8.5 x 11″ cardstock.
If you’ve followed my blog for any length of time, you’ll know that not only do I not sell ‘at’ you, but also, that I’m a big fan of making the best possible use of cardstock and paper as possible. There was no point in making this box 1/2″ taller for the sake of it, you’d end up with almost half a sheet left, that you’d have to pop to one side in the hope that another project would come along.
So, with that in mind, please do enjoy the video. I used Sweet Sorbet DSP and matching Baker’s Twine from the matching Accessory Pack (both FREE until Monday 10pm UK time), but in the video, I used elements from the Mini Memories Album kit, but you can use anything that takes your fancy!

Awesome tutorial! I made some of these in an autumn theme and posted them on my blog. I added a link to your tutorial-no way I was going to give better instructions than you! 🙂 I’m new to blogging but yo make our look so easy! Thank you! For great tutorials and inspiration!
Hi Sam
I thought I’d do quiet a few of the mini milk cartons to give as gifts at my dinner party.
I made the mistake of just LISTENING to your video whilst writing down on paper, the dimensions. That was my mistake.
On scoring the LONG side, you definitely said two and three quarter inches as your second score line (listen to the video). I did this and realized I had wasted a wad of good card stock owing to the wrong second measurement given.
After watching the video , I realized what had gone wrong and why the “box” was not as it should be. What a waste of time and card stock.
Did anyone else make the same mistake?
After saying that, I love your video’s Sam and have bought a few of Sampin Up products from you .
I will WATCH and LISTEN next time
Lynn
