Pootles Stampin’ Up! UK Kind & Cosy is Made with Love!
I really do have an eclectic style when it comes to making cards.
Sometimes when I look at a stack that I’ve just made in an evening, or a pile I’ve got waiting to be photographed, I wonder how it is that there are often some quite different styles going on.
Take yesterday’s grungy card, and then today’s tiny motif detail. What’s that all about?!
I suppose the joy is in having a great range of products to work with, and that allows the creativity to flow. And in case you were wondering, yes, I did make both those cards the same evening, one after the other…!
I think what I will say is fairly uniform across all my projects, whether they’re cards, boxes, bags, or something else, I like to keep it simple.
Not necessarily the finished appearance, but the build of a project.
As a very busy Mum, and a busy woman in general, if I think a project will take a long time, I’m less inclined to even start it. Not because I’m impatient or have a low pain threshold for time consuming projects, but because I want to share that just because it took only a short amount of time, doesn’t mean it was made with any less love.
I hope you like my Kind & Cozy card. I love the stamp set, and I love to use the Stampin’ Write Markers when I can, and picking out elements of the tea cup with Daffodil Delight and Sahara Sand worked well, as did the Pacific Point Blue flowers mixed with a splash of Gumball Green. And my favourite double punch layering of the 1 1/4 circle over a 1 3/8″ circle of Daffodil Delight cardstock set these up nicely!
And who doesn’t love a rainbow of love?!
Oh and candy dots put in an appearance, much as they did at the beginning of the week.
All together, simple and fun, and definitely the kind of card that would brighten anyone’s day. And does it really matter that it only took a few minutes to make?
Not in the slightest!
