Envelope Punch Board Stamp Set/DVD Wrap Tutorial
Some months ago, I was asked if I could design a bag or box to house one of our stamp sets. Not so hard you might think until the requisite ‘one piece of paper/card please Sam’ was added into the mix.
In fact, it’s nigh on impossible, unless you have a Diagonal Plate for your Simply Scored or you have the Envelope Punch Board. The problem is that the width and depth of a DVD case is greater than half the width of 12×12 card/paper, thus meaning it is impossible to simply wrap the case…
But, fast forward a few months and Tra La! Whoop whoop! *throws in a happy dance aswell* and look what we have!
One gorgeous wrap for a DVD case, and in fact, uses LESS than a sheet of 12×12 paper….
So please do watch the video. I kinda went a bit less feminine, and heading towards more masculine, although I couldn’t resist a flash of floral in there with the Scallop Circle!
Oh, and I had a great excuse to use that awesome new striped ribbon!
Video is below, as usual, or do watch it HERE on YouTube!
Paper 10 3/4 x 10 3/4″ (27 x 27cm)
Punch and score at 4 1/8 AND 4 7/8 (10.5 AND 12.5cm) (please note, you cannot score the full length, but this will match when you flip…!)
Rotate to OPPOSITE side and punch and score as above.
FLIP the paper over, and you will be able to join the lines, as mentioned above.
FLIP the paper back to the ORIGINAL side and now use your scored lines as a guide and punch and score to join up, leaving you with 2 scored lines on all 4 sides
Products used in the video and in the sample shown.
