Everything Eleanor Heads to the Soho Subway
There are some days when I just have to use DSP. Doesn’t matter which one it is, but sometimes, just sometimes, it calls to me.
And this card uses the Soho Subway DSP as a background to the stamping of the gorgeous swirl from Everything Eleanor.
I picked out the same two colours, Crisp Cantaloupe and Early Espresso that are in the paper, but I stamped them off twice each before taking them to the Very Vanilla cardstock. My grid paper was a mess afterwards, but I think it was worth it!
But I wanted a touch of floral in there, so I punched 6 Petite Petals flowers and 6 Itty Bitty Shapes 4-petal flowers, and sponged half each in the same inks.
I love how this card ended up. The triple layer and triple circle of the Linen Thread made all the difference and while it’s not hugely obvious, trust me, without it, it wasn’t quite ‘finished’!
Do you ever get ‘cravings’ for the use of DSP??
