Hopeful Thoughts of Spring in the Air?
When I was looking out of my office window the other day, I noticed that all of a sudden, a small ornamental tree out there was in full bloom. I’m not completely sure how to be honest, given that my beautiful tree that is meant to trail to the ground had been butchered by my husband and is now sprouting out at right angles, but we’ll brush over that. I’m not cross at all. Much. Honestly.
But I do love it. And as I was looking at it’s funny right angles, I thought of the Hopeful Thoughts stamp set, one I adore very much, and decided that I could take some time and pick out the blossom and leaves in different colours with the Stampin’ Write Markers.
So I did!
Garden Green for the leaves and delicate Pink Pirouette for the blossom.
I love it!
I think the minute seed pearls from the Basics Pearls variety pack adds that little extra, as does that gorgeous message from the Happy Congratulations Stamp Set.
Minimal supplies needed, but wow, does it have maximum impact!
Perhaps this Easter Weekend, we will have Spring upon is. Hopefully…
Don’t forget my mini giveaway this weekend “I have a mini bonus gift for my customers for Easter Weekend. I joined at Easter last year (which was in March last year) so for this 4 day weekend only, anyone who places an order of £75 or above (before postage) will receive a pack of Polka Dot Parade DSP worth £9.95. I will be sending it myself, so it won’t come in your order, and it will be an absolute pleasure to send it alongside the Card and Gift I always send out to everyone who orders, no matter what size their order is!”
I hope you enjoyed this project, please do use the hostess code to support Pootles! (hostess code shown in the top right of my blog for the current one!)
