Boho Blossoms meets Gorgeous Grunge. And a candy dot or 3…
So I think by now, we’ve established that I like simple cards. I like them to look at, I like them to make, but I also like them because they show that anyone can make a card.
I hear, all to often, “I couldn’t make that, I’m not creative/crafty” or something similar. But in reality, anyone can be with a few minutes patience and a little bit of ink and a punch.
Crafting should only ever be fun. It shouldn’t be, or feel, like a chore. It shouldn’t necessarily be a constant battle and challenge to make the ‘new latest thing’, but to make something that you as the creator finds appealing, and in all likelihood, if you like it, the person you’re sending it to probably will too.
I jokingly say that I’m on a One Woman Mission to Get Everyone Crafting, and that’s kind of only half a joke. I think too many potential crafters are put off either by the thought of how much time it takes to make a project, or how many supplies they’ll need. Both are actually totally valid concerns, so my card today is a deliberate demonstration of how simple it is to make a project using the bare minimum.
Cardstock scraps, Ink and Candy Dots in Blushing Bride, Wild Wasabi, So Saffron, Boho Blossoms Punch, Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set, Whisper White Bakers Twine, Whisper White card and Naturals White Cardblank.
And for any new crafters out there, this is a selection of other projects using the Boho Blossoms Punch and Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set to ‘prove’ their versatility.
