A Very Vintage Venetian Romance. Upside Down…
There are some days when it is all going so well. You think you’re onto a winner, you make your card. You love how it looks. You think you’ve done good.
Then 5 days later you take a photograph of it.
Then you realise you stuck the designer series paper on upside down….
Oops….
In my absolute defense, the writing is soooo tiny, I can be forgiven for the error. And while my eyesight isn’t particularly bad, I still hadn’t noticed at the point of taking the photograph, it was only when I came to crop the close up of the Boho Blossoms that I realised the error.
So despite that, I shall now have to give this to someone who isn’t so great on the old eyesight front. Or someone who would giggle and laugh with me at my error. Or I may just put it on my shelf next to me here, just when I need a smile.
It’s a really easy card though, a card blank made from Pistachio Pudding cardstock, layered over with that gorgeous Venetian Romance DSP. The centre panel is another layer of Pistachio Pudding and I stamped the Very Vintage Roller Wheel across some Very Vanilla cardstock in the same ink. I love it!
Then finally, a cluster of Boho Blossoms over a leaf from the Bird Builder Punch and a twist of Linen Thread with some Basics Pearls Accents.
A pretty card, despite the upsidedownness (it’s a word…) of it!
