Blues and Hues with the Petite Petals Punch
When I make a card, I usually follow a sort of ‘formula’ for my layers. I cut a piece of cardstock in half, and then fold it in half. And usually, I will then put 2 layers on top, each half a centimeter smaller than the one before.
But today, I decided to make a square panel for the front. It’s half a centimeter smaller on the width, and then the same length. It meant I had that great space at the bottom to tie a Crumb Cake ribbon over the Crumb Cake card blank!
And my Petite Petals flowers are tinted on the edges in Crumb Cake, Pool Party and that zingy vibrant Bermuda Bay. All with matching candy dots. But can you see the little sparkle in the background? It’s not actually sparkle, it’s a speckle from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set, but it sort of reminds me of fireworks going off!
I know, I know. My head sometimes comes up with funny stuff, but it’s just how it works!
Anyway, I hope you like my gentle simple card!
