Sometimes, it’s okay to have a large section of white space. This is not news, cos I’ve shared that before, but this time, I wanted to create my own sort of ‘background’ to the punched sentiment shape, so I took myself off to my stamp shelves and had a hunt.

I decided that the smallest images from Summer Sillhouettes was perfect, so I grabbed them, my Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe Inks from the latest In Colours collection and started randomly stamping.

Kinda cute, so I took the Petite Pairs stamp, but used only one half to make the sentiment. Black Stazon is the perfect black for stamping onto our Whisper White cardstock, and it really did pop off the page!

I punched the whole lot out using the Curly Label Punch and gently sponged the edges with some more Pistachio Pudding ink (to match the card blank).

Originally I was just going to have the sentiment on it’s own, but decided a little trail of the tiny Basics Pearls leading up to the trio of flowers from the Boho Blossoms was a far prettier effect.

I absolutely love this card, and I intend to make it again and again!
