Black on Black Heat Embossed Hopeful Thoughts
I really love the Hopeful Thoughts stamp set (Thoughts and Prayers is the name overseas!) but with a stamp set that is so simple it is easy to just do the same thing over and over again. I’ve used it a few times, and posted it in here a few times aswell, but I wanted to do something a little different.
This time I decided to take inspiration from those beautiful oriental blossoms and see what happened.
I kinda like it!
I clear heat embossed the design onto black cardstock and then simply punched tiny white flowers using the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and added pearls to the centre.
It did need a sentiment so I took the sentiment from the Gifts of Kindness stamp set and used it with our White Craft ink, then punched it with my favourite sentiment punch duo. This is a perfect pairing for long slim words – Word Window Punch and Modern Label Punch. I think the duo looks classy without being fussy and faffy!
So a very very simple card, but I’m delighted with the result!
