Petite Sweet Baby Petals!
Oooo, how cute is this?
There is something about babies that makes me immediately want to scatter buttons all over the card. Which is odd, because I have a phobia of buttons and wouldn’t have them anywhere near my boys when they were babies…
But moving swiftly on from my slightly peculiar head, back to the card.
So. Babies. Buttons. Blue. Bows.
It just all goes together somehow!
As always, a simple card to make, I’ve just randomly stamped one of the images from the Petite Petals stamp set, in Marina Mist, all over the top layer of card and then punched 3 matching ones out using the matching Petite Petals punch (gotta love a discounted bundle right?) and of course, the centres couldn’t be anything but tiny Whisper White buttons!
I stamped the sentiment from the Baby, We’ve Grown stamp set, but this time used Night of Navy ink, so that I could come back in and colour the wording in with my blender pen! It’s subtle, but it needed it! And I used my lovely Deco Labels Framelits to cut the sentiment out, as I wanted something that left room for that whopper whisper white button!
I think with a change of sentiment and change of centre to the flowers, this could definitely be altered for other occasions. But for me, any excuse to think baby…
