South Hill and Stampin’ Up! Sunday
Yay! South Hill Sunday! It’s a brand new feature that I will be bringing to you once a week (on a Sunday, funnily enough…!) and is a merge of my Stampin’ Up life and how I take inspiration from things, and my South Hills Designs life, where I also take inspiration from the world around me.
So there is a video for you to watch, it’s not just me putting stuff into a locket, there are reasons for each charm that I’ve added in here, and my video tells you all about that.
And it was actually the card that inspired the locket. It’s been a crazy busy week here, I’ve had 4 ladies join my team since our promotion launched a couple of days ago, and then with the Clearance Rack going live, and then the Retiring List, plus my South Hills team leaping from 23 to 38 in the last 7 days, so I decided to reverse my locket/card combination and let the card be the inspiration point!
And it’s a beautiful set, Simple Stems from the spring catalogue (so only a month left until it leaves us) with the Hi from the gorgeous Regarding Dahlias set (not leaving us, phew!). And I simply used Basic Grey as my cardstock base and the backing for the Hi and them stamped using only Smoky Slate and that gorgeous Melon Mambo to highlight.
But of course, I had to do some punching, so I used my ever faithful pairing of the 1 1/4″ Circle and the 1 3/8″ Circles to get the perfect mount.
I love it, but I hope you like how it inspired my locket this week!
