Black and White Butterflies using Stampin’ Up! Punches
I was having a bit of a wander around Pinterest recently, and came across the image below. Unfortuantely the link just goes out to an advertising site, so I don’t know who this originally belonged to, but it was so striking, I wanted to take inspiration from it and the card is what came about.
It’s pretty apparent really what I’ve done!
Punched a load of Itty Bitty Butterflies and Elegant Butterflies in Basic Black and set Basics Pearls into them. But the flowers are slightly different. I wanted Whisper White Petite Petals flowers, but didn’t want them to get ‘lost’ on the card, so I cut the same shape but in basic black, and then layered them right over the top, so it’s just a whisper of a border of black that’s peeping through.
I love it, and whoever came up with the original wall art, thank you for your inspiration!
