Serene Sillhouettes Inspired Card
Only 5 days left of the Spring Catalogue, and the Retiring List…
Well, as a papercrafter, I send a lot of handmade cards. I adore it, and love the process of designing cards that I hope are going to be enjoyed by others.
However, I receive quite a lot back too, and this card here is one that I was sent by a lovely lady who always rings me to place her orders. We have a lovely chat every time, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her.
It arrived in the post and I was so taken with its design that I had to recreate it myself, and I’m so pleased I did!
For mine, I used the Serene Sillhouettes stamp set with the new Blackberry Bliss ink which I stamped 3 times to get the faded look.
Anita’s has a delicate dash of glitter on the flower heads, so I did the same by dabbing my 2-way glue pen in random places then sprinkling some Dazzling Diamonds glitter on them.
And again, taking inspiration from Anita’s card with the sloping sentiment, I took mine from the Polka-Dot Pieces stamp set. I absolutely adore her card, and love how mine has turned out.
So to Anita and all the people who send me cards, thank you. I love receiving them, and they all make me smile.
I hope you enjoyed this project, please do use the hostess code to support Pootles! (hostess code shown in the top right of my blog for the current one!)
