Sweetly Framed New Neighbours!

Only 3 days of the Retiring List, Spring Catalogue and Joining Offer left……!

Chris and I have lived in our house since 6 weeks before our first son was born (yes, I was that crazy woman who moved house at 7.5 months pregnant…. mad!), and in that time, we’ve only had new neighbours on our little drive once.  We live on a private drive where there are only 4 houses, and it’s been lovely having the same neighbours for over a decade. However, back in March, on my 40th birthday as it happens, our immediate next door neighbours moved out and a lovely lady moved in with her University-Studying daughter.

It’s been lovely getting to know them, and when they had a housewarming party recently, that coincided with a birthday of theirs, I took this card to them.

I used the Sweetly Framed Hostess stamp set (retiring on Monday) for the main image. I did stamp a tiny house in the bottom right corner but didn’t like it, and decided to cover it in a scatter of flowers instead!

The whole card is only 2 colours – Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla, and it is in my simplistic style or scattering flowers and pearls to fill gaps that are a shade too much.  I rather like it, and I hope Sian and Rhian did too!

The Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack that I used to create the smallest flowers have now sold out, but from Tuesday, there is a new set coming called Itty Bitty Accents and there is something cute in there that would work just aswell along side my oh-so-adored Petite Petals!
