Pootles – South Hill & Stampin’ Up! on Sunday – Adventure Bound!
And it is Sunday! Yay!
We know what that means! A merging of my working lives with South Hill Designs and Stampin’ Up!
And today’s project is specifically all about the American colours, because as you’re reading this, I am currently in Arizona at the South Hill Designs Convention and most likely, having a thoroughly good time!
But I chose the sentiment Adventure Bound from the Project Life set Remember This because it really is an adventure for me. I haven’t been to America for over 13 years, and while I used to travel on my own without issue in my youth, I haven’t done that since before I met my husband Chris, so it’s almost like I’ve been transported back to my 20s when I used to head off to sunny climes on my own!
So my card is simple, the Locket (HERE) is far more ornate, but I wanted to keep it simple. I didn’t want to do the Stars and Stripes an injustice, so I went with the colours instead of Real Red, Pacific Point and of course, Whisper White. And I reflected these with the stamping, the Candy Dots and the backing trim for the Petite Petals Punching.
I hope you like my quick video, and I’d love for you to pop over to my South Hills blog to have a look at the locket there.
