Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – High Five for an Optical Illusion Card…
How cute is this background?
I’ve gone heavy up on the old Melon Mambo thing here, but I really rather love it!
The background is created entirely by triple stamping off the ‘spotty’ blob from the High Five stamp set. I just stamped 3 times before reinking my stamp. Love IT!
Then I wanted to bring in a sort of optical illusion, and as you well know by now, I try and only use one stamp set where possible on a card, so I stamped the You’re Fabulous from the same set, then scattered the stars all around it.
Then, I punched it using the Extra Large Oval Punch and lifted it right up on some dimensionals.
It seems to sort of fade into the background, and you have to look a little closer to realise that they’re stars not spots. But hopefully, the trio of stars punched using the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack will help the illusion come alive.
Oh, and how about the new cotton ribbon, also in Melon Mambo! It’s so pretty, so smooth, and so tactile!!!!
