Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Pinch Close Flat Topped Box Tutorial
Don’t forget, my blog moves next week, so if you don’t follow me by email, you may not come across. The link’s just there on the right, hit it now!
Now, you need to go and watch the video to find out that at the point of filming, I had no idea what to call this project. Well, it would be nice for you to watch the video anyway, but you know, I do like to add a little bit of light entertainment to your day!
I saw the project a while ago on Pinterest, and then it recently reappeared, but when I had a look at the project, it was made using an ECutter. And you know me by now, not only do I not have one of those, I also understand that I’m not alone. And heck, if I can make it by simple maths and a scoring tool, then it’s good enough for me!
It’s rather lovely, and yes, you can use a variety of different tools to close it, not just brads. Magnets would work well, but if you’re going to use velcro coins, please stick them together and pull them apart maybe half a dozen times before adhering them down. I’ve trashed too many projects in the past to do a high recommendation of those little blighters!
Anyway, so my video is HERE for you, and of course, dimensions etc are below!
