There is something special about a one layer card that has it’s ‘texture’ added by glitter.

I love simple stamping, that’s not a surprise in any way shape or form, but where I would perhaps create layers with punches, I decided to simply do random stamping of the gorgeous Forever Florals stamp set in Pistachio Pudding and Smoky Slate all over the card.

I did a little extra on another piece of scrap card and centered the greeting (from the same set!) so I could punch it out together and I rather like the effect.

But, it needed more. More I tell you!

So out came my 2-way glue and the Dazzling Diamonds.  Not that you can see it enormously well, but there are tiny dashes of glitter in the centre of all the flowers.

I love the simplicity of this card, but the sparkle makes my heart sing!
