Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Monochrome Paper Bag Tutorial
For 1 week only, until Saturday September 20th, I am celebrating falling hard and fast in love with Blendabilities. I love how they are so much more than a ‘colouring’ pen, and make pretty things that little bit more special.
So for every order of £100, I will send you a 3-pack of Blendabilities as a special thank you. This is incremental, so if you spend £200 you’ll get 2 packs, £300 would be 3 packs, and so on! Pretty awesome when you add in the Good Greetings free stamp set that SU themselves are offering on orders over £200, plus all the hostess rewards!
Anyway, the fine print is that this is an offer from me only, not Stampin’ Up! Blendabilities will be automatically sent by my after September 20th and will come separately to your order!
Well after so many 6×6 projects, I really had to create something with a different set of starter paper, and so I decided to double it! I love paper bags and how pretty then can look with just a few simple score lines, but this one, I added in a couple of diagonal lines.
You’ll see from the video that I was once again midnight filming (noisy workmen still!) and as a result, you can’t see those diagonal lines all that well, but they’re here for you to see in the video, and also, I’ve shown a side profile shot of the bags to show you the softly sloping fronts to them. The whole reason behind that set of diagonals….
Anyway, the dimensions are below the video which I do hope you enjoy!
Dimensions when completed – 4.25 x 4 x 1.5″ (10.5 x 10 x 4cm)
Paper – 6 x 12″ (15.25 x 30.5cm)
Score on the LONG side at 1.5, 5.75, 7.25, 11.5″ (4, 14.5, 18.5, 29cm)
Score on the SHORT side at 1.5, 5.5″ (4, 14cm)
Mark notches 2.5″ (6cm) from the top on the vertical lines to make the diagonal scores as per the video.
