Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Kinda Eclectic Gorgeous Grunge

 

 

 

 

Well today’s card uses 2 stamp sets of which I paid nothing for either!  One of the best things about being part of Stampin’ Up! is that the company is incredibly generous to us demos.  We get stamp sets as rewards for achieving certain things, but when you attend any event that SU puts on, you’ll always come away with some fabulous goodies to help enhance your business and craft stash!

I received Gorgeous Grunge when I went to European Convention last November and it was one of those stamp sets that really hadn’t done it for me when I saw it in the catalogue. Interestingly, I was the same with Kinda Eclectic when I saw that too, and then when I received it at US Convention this summer, I was pleased to get it, but again, not all that taken with it.

And then I stamped it….

 

 

Oh how beautiful is the font of the sentiment, and then the wording itself!

 

 

I love it, and the butterfly, while at first glance, the cross hatch doesn’t really make sense, but when you add it to something like Gorgeous Grunge, it so does.  I will get around to using the other elements from the set, but for now, these are enough for me to say “how lovely, I’m so pleased I have this set”

Oh and my colours? Pistachio Pudding, Wild Wasabi, Garden Green and Sahara Sand.
