Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Hopeful Thoughts with Butterflies
I really do love the Hopeful Thoughts stamp set (known as Thoughts and Prayers overseas), and I love that the simplicity of it is its beauty.
The sentiments are perfect, the images are stunning and when put together with a tiny added detail, you can make so many variations from one simple stamp set.
I’ve used Early Espresso and Wild Wasabi Stampin’ Write Markers for the tree and Sahara Sand for the sentiment. I think it’s softly elegant and would be perfect on its own.
But I’d decided to work with butterflies that particular evening, so I chose to use Papillon Potpourri because those darling little Bitty Butterflies are so adorable that you can add a pop of colour that isn’t too overwhelming. The colours I chose here are Strawberry Slush and Crisp Cantaloupe, both from the In Colour collection 2013-2015, but I felt one needed a little bit more. Out came the Silver Embossing Powder and that seemed just about right!
What do you think?
