Pootles Mini Merry Christmas Card using Stampin’ Up! Bird Builder Punch
Who doesn’t just adore the tiny little cards that come by us all at Christmas? They’re the ones that slip in the pile of post when it arrives through the letter box and it’s the sparkly adorable one that always sits at the front of the mantlepiece because it would get hidden by the others if it was put to the back….
But how do you make a dinky card???
Well, you cut a piece of cardstock in Half. Then you cut it in Half again so you basically have 4 quarters of cardstock. Then you score each of those in half and instantly you have 4 small cards. In the ‘A’ range of paper, these are known as A7 cards although I’m not sure if they have a specific name in the US???
Anyway, this size card is great for whizzing a load out in one go, particularly as there’s punching going on aswell!
I used the Bird Builder Punch with the Silver Glimmer paper, and then just one wing of Silver Foil. But can you see the Robin’s little red tummy? I just sponged on Real Red ink!
He had to have an eye of course, but after trying out a few options, the Chocolate Chip candy dot worked best of all.
And to finish, a tiny card needs a tiny sentiment so I went with Teeny Tiny Sentiments popped out with the Word Window Punch.
I hope you like it!
