Pootles Advent Countdown #8 Envelope Punch Board After Dinner Chocolate Treat Tutorial
LAST DAY TO JOIN STAMPIN’ UP! AND MY TEAM (THE POOTLERS) AND GET FREE DSP EVERY MONTH FOR 6 MONTHS.
Sorry, that was all shouty capitals, but I wanted to let you know, just in case… š
Anyway, on to today’s project and it’s to tiny. I mean really tiny. Tiny tiny. Dinky tiny!
Eeeeeek!
I love it!
If you’re like me and you go ever so slightly overboard at Christmas meals and you have more food than could possibly be consumed in any other circumstance, you’re going to have a large quantity of chocolate eaterie hanging about. Ā The theory is always really good – you eat goodness knows how many courses of food, and then come out with a load of after dinner mints.
Somehow we all manage to eat at least 2 (did you know that in our house we have two stomachs. Ā There is always room for pudding, so therefore apparently that means we have 2 stomachs. Got to love the logic of a child…!)
But because those boxes aren’t usually the most attractive thing around, I decided to make something a little more aesthetically pleasing.
It uses a tiny piece of paper, just 3×3″ (7.5 x 7.5cm) and you punch and score at 1 3/8″ and 1 5/8″ (3.5 & 4.1cm) on ONE side then use that as a score guide to continue further around the remaining 3 sides.
I used the Trim the Tree DSP stack, but because of its perfect size, sheets of DSP would be ideal too. Oh and don’t forget to get the Envelope Punch Board… you know it will revolutionize your crafting life!
Video detail is here for you, and would love to see your versions of this!
