Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Flowering Flourishes Marina Mist Card Inspired by Nail Polish
Well it feels like I’m constantly on Pinterest right now and spotting totally non papercraft pictures and using them as inspiration in my crafting life. I’ve used loads of different visuals as inspiration recently (I will be sharing them soon!) and this is one that was inspired by 2 different visuals of nail art!
First I want to show the photos that caught my eye.
Aren’t they cute! I kinda think I’m a smidge too old for funky nail art, but I loved the white flowers on the blue backdrop and that’s where my card grew from.
It’s a simple white heat embossed Flowering Flourishes Stamp with 3 Whisper White flowers punched using my fabulous Boho Blossoms Punch. I added the scatter of Marina Mist candy dots first but while I like them, perhaps Whisper White would have been better?
I rather like it, but perhaps a paler blue would have worked a little better…
