Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Pink & Silver Christmas Card using Stampin’ Up! Wondrous Wreath
Don’t forget, the one week special offer to join Stampin’ Up! UK is on now, ends December 2nd. Details HERE!
How pretty is this???
I love delicate details on a card, and while I like to make fast cards, that doesn’t mean to say that I never make detailed ones too. They’re just not that frequent!
I got a chance to play with the Wondrous Wreath stamp set at European Convention last month and sort of wished I had got a chance to play with it a little earlier!
My colour combination though, that’s all pinterest! I search on there quite frequently for colour combos that are a little out of the ordinary and I had seen a bracelet on there that was all sorts of textures and twists with a soft pink ribbon going through it.
I loved the bracelet combinations so decided to do the same with my Wondrous Wreath card.
It’s stamped with Pink Pirouette first, then the 2nd layer is Smoky Slate and finished with Silver Heat Embossed Berries for the final layer. You most definitely need to use your Magnetic Platform with your Big Shot for this as it does need perfect alignment. But so worth it!
That the set comes in a bundle with framelits just makes me so happy, so I decided to do a little more heat embossing for the bow at the top, but I wanted to add some more texture, hence the gorgeous Silver Glimmer Paper ‘Joy’ across the bottom.
It’s all set on Smoky Slate cardstock as a base, then a layer of Silver Foil, another layer of Smoky Slate and a final layer of Whisper White.
A little scatter of Basics Rhinestones and job done!
What do you think??
I hope you enjoyed this project, please do use the hostess code to support Pootles! (hostess code shown in the top right of my blog for the current one!) if your order is over £150, don’t. You get those hostess goodies yourself!
