Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Crazy Santa with Stampin’ Up! Visions of Santa and Blendabilities
Well if there’s ever going to be a stamp set that is the most discussed in a year, it’s going to be this one.
It’s a real marmite stamp isn’t it (for my international friends, Marmite is a spread for toast that you either really love or really hate. There’s no middle ground…!)
And I have to say, that at first, I was only drawn to the big sentiment and the icons, but the more I forced myself to use the product collection, the more I was falling for it.
I do want to say that given the amount of time I’ve used the sentiments and icons from this Visions of Santa set, if I never used the images, I’d still have got full value for money!
So do you like it or not? I can’t quite bring myself to stamp the hairy chested version of santa, but this one is kinda cute with his sleeves rolled up. Not sure about the hairy legs, but I like to think that he’s getting himself ready to do the washing up….
I coloured him in with my Cherry Cobbler blendabilities and added a dash of Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the fur trims of his suit.
All popped up on a double layer of whisper white cardstock that was layered and matted onto one of our Notecards.
Simple and definitely a discussion point… Maybe I’ll send this to one of my brothers. They’d both get the joke!
