Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Dinky Teacher’s Tealight Gift Tutorial
Gah, only a couple of days before the boys all break up for their school holidays and I am here frantically making gifts for their teachers… Why am I so last minute this year???
However, we are reducing in numbers now that Jack is at secondary school and apparently gifting teachers is “so not cool Mum” and given how many he has, this is a good thing… But between the other 3, we’re still in double figures.
So I have a quick, adorable and inexpensive gift idea here.
It’s not a new idea to create a milk carton type box, but I have reduced the peak on this one. I wanted a bit more of a squished top to the box. I also had the challenge of designing it to fit 3 tea lights of either shallow supermarket type aswell as plastic cup types that my chandler team would make, and also Ikea’s finest….
But I succeeded. Not without running in and out of my kitchen and lounge to retrieve various tea lights from their stashed locations to check and triple check…
I hope you like the video and this is the first of my Use It Up posts…. I shall be making good use of festive DSP in non festive ways. I hate having left overs and I suspect I’m not alone!
Oh, and I am now only using seasonal products that are being carried over (except DSP, that never carries over!), so keep an eye on what I am using and what I’m not…
Video is here, don’t forget to watch in HD!
