Large Thinlits Die Holder Tutorial
Well you have to love a project that is easy to make but is a space saving craft room rescuer!
This is the 4th in what has grown into a series of projects all creating holders for our various framelits and embossing folders. You can find the first here (card holder that happily holds embossing folders), then the Framelits Holder and the Skinny Embossing Folder Holder. And with an ever growing number of thinlits dies, I felt we needed a new one, so here comes the Thinlits Die Holder!
I have these scattered all over my office, 2 sit by my computer monitor with finished cards in that are waiting to be blogged about, another is on a shelf with spare framelits and 3 house my embossing folders.
I use the originals that I featured, so none of them match one another, but that’s what I love about them! And yes, they do make an appearance in this video too!
You need a sheet of cardstock that measures 11 x 12″ (28 x 30.5cm) which you score at 4, 6 (10, 15cm) on the length and then 2, 9″ (5, 23cm) on the short side. And finish with a panel of DSP – I used Santa and Co on my Real Red box and then Nordic Noel on my Garden Green one. Oh and the panels measure 3.5 x 6.5″ (16.5 x 8.5cm)
Hope you enjoy it!
