Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Cheerful Critters meet Blendabilities
When I first saw the Spring Catalogue, I loved the look of the Cheerful Critters stamp set. The fun and whimsy just appealed to my sense of humour, but when I came to use it, I drew a blank. I took myself off to Pinterest, however, while I saw lots of cards using the set, they seemed to make lots of use of fussy cutting and lots of colouring. Both looked incredible, but neither of which is my type of crafting.
So I decided to play to my ‘strengths’ of quick and simple….
Is it too simplistic?
I can sort of see it as one of those cards that you’d give a teenager for doing well or who perhaps had passed an exam or something.
Teen cards are as problematic as male cards are for many crafters, so I’m using that as my story and sticking with it *thinks on her feet*
So super simple here – Black Memento ink to stamp, Wisteria Wonder Blendabilities for the bunny’s dress, Smoky Slate Blendabilities for her face, ears, arms and Pink Pirouette (yes, they’re new!) for her ears. All on a Wisteria Wonder card blank. (ps, all blendabilities are available as free goodies with the Sale a Bration promotion!)
Oh, and can you see the tiny pearl on the exclamation mark? Coloured with a blendability of course…!
