SpringWatch 2015 Sophisticated Serifs Monogram Notelets Tutorial
SpringWatch is HERE! 14 days of video projects, back to back, and all focusing on Spring Catalogue and Sale a Bration Products!
Oooo, I love an old fashioned monogrammed notelet!
It’s something that I remember having when I was a youngster, but in these modern days, we don’t particularly write with a single piece of paper and just pop a note to someone, so I went back in time 30 years and decided to recreate the elegance of then!
I reckon a little stack of these and some envelopes tied with pretty ribbon would make a lovely little gift for someone!
The dimensions are simple – a sheet of Whisper White Cardstock cut into 4 equal pieces with a layer over the top of each that is 1/4″ (0.5cm) shorter and narrower with both parts sponged in the chosen ink.
Then using the Sophisticated Serifs set and a selection of soft Subtles colours, stamp the relevant initial and the floral icons in the corner.
Done!
But enjoy the video anyway, despite the speed of the instructions…. I recreate a colour as there was a minor ink error on a sample… oops!
